Treatments

Each treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes including set up time and is designed for your comfort. The Spina System ™ uses the new Accu-SPINA™, a mechanized, high tech pain reduction and healing system that was developed after many years of research and development by a team of physicians, including a renowned neurosurgeon, and bioengineers. The Accu-SPINA™ offers an advanced technique to doctors for non-invasive treatment of the spine.

To begin, patients are fitted with unique pelvic and torso harnesses. They then step on to the loading platform where they are reclined to the supine position. Arm supports are placed in the armpit region immobilizing the upper torso. A special air bladder, located in the pelvic harness, is inflated.

The pelvic harness is attached to the Intelli-Decompression™ head, which is elevated 10 to 25 degrees above the patient. The combination of angle of pull and air bladder create a fulcrum pinpointing treatment to the LI to L5 region. The system is quickly programmed, using the Windows XP® Operating System, for intervals of 60 seconds decompression followed by 30 seconds of partial relaxation.

For Cervical Decompression, a Cervical Treatment Head Plate is slid on to robotically controlled tracks, which reside under the bed until exposed to allow for cervical treatment. The decompression belt runs from the Intelli-Decompression™ head, under the bed over a guide rail at the end of the bed, and attaches to the Cervical Treatment Head Plate. An air bladder is located under the patient’s neck. A strap is placed over the patient’s forehead to secure the head. The system is then programmed using proprietary cervical software using the same decompression principles and intervals as for the lumbar region .
